Feel like you’re chairing in difficult times? Looking for more support? As Chair you need to ensure your charity focuses on the right things, uses it resources well and achieves its purpose despite changing circumstances. For smaller organisations this can be a challenge, with reliance on a small staff team and or volunteers and minimal funds to pay for external expertise. This workshop aims to provide you with the knowledge and tools to ensure your charity has the strategy, resources and processes to succeed. It will help you to be clear about what needs to be in place and ensure that it happens. It will support you to identify the boundaries between planning and overseeing the work and the separate task of carrying it out. You will have the opportunity to share learning and sources of support with Chairs of other smaller organisations.
