Date
06 April 2019 10:10 - 16:00
Venue
William Elder Building - 56-58 Castle Gate, Berwick TD15 1JT

Berwick Educational Association (BEA), Durham Energy Institute, Berwick Community Trust, and Community Action Northumberland, will be presenting the Berwick Energy Conference in Berwick on Saturday 6th April 2019.

A series of lectures will consider: what is energy and how it is used; the past, present and future of energy; and some of its rural development, and environmental consequences.

The final session will be a Berwick Case Study, looking at heat, transport and power use in the town and surrounding rural area. Initially considering the current position, before looking at how individually and collectively we might re-engineer for a more sustainable energy future.

The day should appeal to anyone with an interest in energy, and no prior technical knowledge is required. Space is limited, so early booking is advised.

For further details and booking see the booking form on the BEA website
