Charities and other not-for-profit organisations are under more pressure than ever before to show that they are trustworthy, accountable and contribute to society. Communicating impact is not just good practice, it’s also a positive step which can engage stakeholders, funders and donors alike. UNW and Northstar Ventures are pleased to invite you to join an interactive morning session aimed at charities and not-for-profit organisations that are keen to develop their understanding and use of impact measurement.  Speakers include:

  • Peter Deans, an independent consultant working with charities and social enterprises.
  • Simon Gerry, Chief Executive of Newcastle University Students’ Union
  • Dan Ellis, Founder and Managing Director of Jam Jar Cinema CIC
  • You will also hear from Northstar Ventures, who will discuss the importance of impact reporting from the point of view of a social impact investor.

Following the presentations, there will be a Q&A panel session and there will be an opportunity to talk one-to-one with staff from Northstar Ventures about the North East Social Investment Fund.
