Sector Training & Events
Date: 12 July 2018 13:30 - 17:00

Venue: Seven Stories, 30 Lime Street, Ouseburn Valley, Newcastle. NE1 2PQ  |  City: Ouseburn Valley, United Kingdom

This free round table discussion, information sharing and networking afternoon will examine Brexit's impact on fundamental rights and standards as well as the wider implications for civil society.

Hosted by the Repeal Bill Alliance, this half day roundtable discussion will be an opportunity to express concerns and thoughts about Brexit’s impact on the third sector as well on fundamental rights and standards.

The goal is to bring civil society and relevant stakeholders together to network and share information about the EU Withdrawal Bill – the landmark Brexit legislation that aims to transpose EU law into UK law.

This bill has created both uncertainty and opportunities for the protections of fundamental rights, EU-derived environmental principles and the devolution settlements- to name but a few. The Repeal Bill Alliance want to make sure civil society has an opportunity to express their voice with this significant piece of legislation.
