Northumberland CVA is delighted to be partnering with Communities Prepared to offer free online training for Northumberland communities on managing emergencies.
Starting on February 16th and running over three consecutive weeks, these timely training webinars will provide information and guidance for Northumberland-based community volunteers on emergency response, leading a volunteer group and crisis recovery. The interactive sessions will be delivered by Communities Prepared with support from the team at Northumberland CVA and have been designed to support the incredible efforts of local community volunteers and community activists, including:
- Flood Warden and Community Emergency Volunteer groups
- Mutual Aid and Isolation Support groups and anyone involved in the COVID-19 response efforts
- Committee members, trustees and volunteers from village halls, community centres and community venues
The sessions are also open to Councillors, Clerks and staff from the local Town and Parish Councils.
